What are the standard fees?
Are fees are simple. We charge interest daily and offer contracts that are good for up to 1 year. We charge 35% APR on loans at or above $1000 and 48% on loans at or below $999. No more storage fees. No more processing fees. No more late notice fees.
How do I get my stuff back?
To get your stuff back, simply make the full payment on your loan. What you borrowed plus the interest, you can calculate it by clicking here! Bring your ticket and a copy of your Government issued ID* to McTamney's at 837 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. *Health cards not accepted.
What if I am late?
We recommend making an interest payment BEFORE your loan due date. By paying the interest, you receive a new contract good for another year. If no payment is made, and the loan defaults, all items will become the property of McTamney's. Failure to make a payment within the contract duration will result in the contract defaulting and the item(s) will be put out for sale.
What if I lost my contract?
If your contract is lost, contact us immediately. A replacement will be issued to you at your next available visit. Please keep your contract in a safe place and have it ready to bring in when you take out your goods! We recommend keeping your contract in a safe place.
Can I get more time?
Yes! By paying the interest you currently owe, you will be issued a new 1 year contract. This gives you up to a whole year before needing to make another payment. When you are ready, you can pay the full loan amount to get back your stuff.
Why did I receive a letter?
Letters are mailed as a courtesy reminder that your loan is past due. If you have received a late notice letter, you must make a payment through our website or visit us at 837 Danforth Avenue to make a payment immediately. If you cannot make a payment, please contact us.
